Employee forged documents, opened fraudulent bank accounts
Randy McRae, the former general counsel for the Prince George’s County Community Development Corp., has been sentenced after being convicted of multiple counts of theft in June.
After being appointed to the Prince George’s County CDC in 2005, McRae of Crofton forged documents and opened fraudulent bank accounts that allowed him to pocket county funds meant to reimburse the CDC for operating expenses, the State’s Attorney office said.
The CDC was created to distribute profit from FedEx Field parking taxes back into the community around the stadium, according the State’s Attorney office. >>> Read more Gazette
